COVID-19 Policies for Your Safety
The health and safety of our families, guests, and employees is our top priority. We are closely monitoring information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Oregon Department of Public Health and the National Funeral Directors Association. Hillside Chapel has adjusted our normal operations to reflect the new protocols established on March 18, 2020, by the Federal Coronavirus Task Force. Per the guidelines of the Task Force and the recommendations of the CDC and Oregon Department of Public Health, the following policies have been put in place to help prevent the spread of any potential illness.
At this time we will be holding services in-house or at the graveside. We are following the number of people allowed at gatherings. Currently we can have 25 people for funerals. However, we are still here to help your family during this difficult time and can facilitate burials and cremations. Loved ones that cannot attend the service may post condolences and sign guestbooks on our website at www.hillsidechapelfh.com
All arrangement conferences can be held in person if you schedule a time to come in, or on video chat or via a phone consultation.
You must wear a face mask when coming in to plan or hold a service.
We request that guests who are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms including fever, cough, and shortness of breath or have been in contact with or have recently traveled to any of the affected countries refrain from visiting the funeral home at this time.
We realize that this is inconvenient to all. Please bear with us, as we navigate these unchartered waters. If you have any questions about the funeral home operations, please feel free to call us at (503) 656-4285.
