COVID-19 Policies for Your Safety
The health and safety of our families, guests, and employees is our top priority. We are closely monitoring information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Oregon Department of Public Health and the National Funeral Directors Association. Hillside Chapel has adjusted our normal operations to reflect the new protocols established on March 18, 2020, by the Federal Coronavirus Task Force. Per the guidelines of the Task Force and the recommendations of the CDC and Oregon Department of Public Health, the following policies have been put in place to help prevent the spread of any potential illness.
At this time we will not be holding services in-house or at the graveside. However, we are still here to help your family during this difficult time and can facilitate direct burials and cremations. Loved ones may post condolences and sign guestbooks on our website at www.hillsidechapelfh.com
All arrangement conferences can be held on video chat or via a phone consultation.
We are unable to provide any evening visitations and all daytime visitations will be limited to three family members.
We request that guests who are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms including fever, cough, and shortness of breath or have been in contact with or have recently traveled to any of the affected countries refrain from visiting the funeral home at this time.
We realize that this is inconvenient to all. Please bear with us, as we navigate these unchartered waters. If you have any questions about the funeral home operations, please feel free to call us at (503) 656-4285.
