Bruce Duane Anderson

March 21, 1933 - April 26, 2018

Born March 21, 1933 in Oregon City, Oregon to Duane and Doris Anderson with one Brother Dale. Bruce lived with his family in Carver where his dad ran his grandparent’s farm. He attended Carver Grade School and graduated from Oregon City High School in 1951 on a Friday night, then started work the next Monday which began his long career in the logging industry from which he retired at the age of 68. He spent his retirement years caring for his land and trees in Beavercreek which many people have been blessed to enjoy over many years. Bruce and Karen, the love of his life, enjoyed traveling in their RV and they kayaked most of the major rivers and lakes in the west with their dog Schatzie. Bruce is survived by Karen, his five children; Tom, Robin, Stacey, Leslie & Step-daughter Wendy. He is beloved by his 10 grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. “He wore out a lot of gloves”
