Charles Dan Koenig, 69, of Oregon City passed away in Clackamas, OR on November 9, 2021. Dan was born in Colorado Springs, CO on October 2, 1952 to Pauline and Charles Koenig. Dan retired from TriMet as a Facilities Manager after 30+ years of service. He enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, and other outdoor activities. His favorite moments were spent gathered with his family and church family. Dan was a proud member of Oregon City United Pentecostal Church where he had faithfully served in various roles including youth leader, Sunday School teacher, and in the sound ministry. He also enjoyed the challenge of cooking for Oregon District Youth Camp, Oregon District Family Camp, local church events, and fundraisers. He was also willing to help in many other church related maintenance and improvement projects. Dan is survived by his wife of 49 years, Carol Koenig, daughter Cara (Koenig) Hall, son-in-law Johnathan Hall, grandsons Zachary and Alexander Hall, son Nathan Koenig, and daughter-in-law Amanda Koenig. He is also survived by sister Vicci (Koenig) Lortz, sister Linda (Koenig) and husband Howard Roy, sister Sheila (Koenig) and husband Joseph Cooley, and brother Bradley and wife Stephanie Koenig, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws. Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Pauline Koenig. Financial donations given in Dan's name may be sent to Oregon City United Pentecostal Church Sound Ministry.
