Eleanor M. Lockman

Eleanor M. Boehly Lockman, 93, of Oregon City, passed away August 21, 2017 She was born in Longview, Washington, and as a small child she moved with her family back to Oregon City where she spent her life. She attended St. John the Apostle Catholic School and O.C. High School. In 1947 she married Bud Williams and together they had one daughter. Later in life she married Laurel “Curly” Lockman and together they enjoyed retirement. They were very crafty and enjoyed making things together and doing local holiday shows. Eleanor loved to cook and thru her life she worked at the West Linn Inn, The Cove, Chris’s Coffee Shop and Art’s Café, to name a few. At home she was always experimenting with recipes and sharing her tasty dishes. She is survived by her daughter Elaine Williams-Claridge and husband Ed Claridge, sister in laws Dorothy Krueger and Rita Boehly, nephew Scott Boehly as well as Curly’s children and their families, especially his daughter Betty Mumm. Special thank you to the Cedar Lodge Care Home for their outstanding care and understanding with Eleanor, and Bristol Hospice for their support. A get together of family and friends is planned for Sept 9th from 1 to 4 at her daughter and son in laws home.
