December 27, 1967 - April 14, 2021
We sadly announce the passing of Kim Carter, 53, of Beaverton, Oregon. Kimberly Carter was born in Washington County, Oregon on, 27 December 1967. She grew up in Beaverton with her Father, Mother, and Sister. Kim attended Beaverton High School, where she earned her diploma. Later, Kim would establish her own home in the Beaverton area. Kim loved spending time with her loved ones, including fur babies, but she especially loved spending time with her nephew, nieces, and great-nephew. She always found a way to make holidays special, and she never forgot a birthday. Kim was a fantastic baker, cookies being her specialty. A visit from Kim always meant yummy, warm cookies, her mama's meatloaf, and mashed potatoes. Kim was incredibly talented at many crafts; crafting made her happy. The beautiful gifts she handmade for her family and friends made them happy too. Dogs, essential oils, the beach, Crocs, hot chocolate, snow, Bomba socks, and music are some of the things Kim loved. Kim was a fiercely loyal friend and would do anything she could to help her friends and loved ones in a time of need. Kim will always be remembered with much love and gratitude for the memories she leaves with us. One of Kim's most beloved friends, Dwight, shared: Kim was many things. The best puppy parent, a scrapbooker extraordinaire, fiercely independent and proud, generous to a fault, a pepperoni pizza connoisseur, outspoken, lover of kitchen gadgets, had a touch of stubbornness, listened when no one else wanted to, was cleverly sarcastic, made the best peppermint bark, hated the color orange, understood me even when she did not, collected the softest blankets, embraced my idiosyncrasies, watched the Hallmark channel too much, but most of all she was my dearest friend. I am grateful that she will always be a part of my life. I miss you, Kim. As a professional, she worked for Wells Fargo for 30+ years and held various positions. Her supervisor and friend at work, Gary Brewer, shared: "I have worked with Kim for over 16 of her 30+ years at Wells Fargo. Kim was the hardest worker when it came to her job and always did her best while working on virtually any task. Not having Kim in our lives is hard to even imagine from a worker or friend's perspective. Some of our most fond memories of Kim were traveling with her and our team on business trips. She made it very clear to all of us that she loves Chick-Fil-A, so we would have to stop at a Chick-Fil-A on many of our business trips for lunch! Kim was so happy to have some Chick-Fil-A memorabilia we had gifted her. She was so very grateful to all of us for the gift. We will all think of Kim whenever we pass or even visit a Chick-Fil-A for the rest of our lives. Outside of work, Kim was by far one of the kindest and most thoughtful persons you could meet. She loved her stamp booking and crafts and sent many of us personal cards for special occasions. She also loved her dog, Jake. We often shared pet stories, and it was well known Jake was her baby. You could feel her love for him. Kim will be greatly missed by all of us here at Wells Fargo. Our thoughts and prayers are with anyone whose life was touched by Kim. Kim, we will miss you and thank you for everything you have done for us. -Gary Brewer, Digital Manager |Wells Fargo Virtual Channels Kim was preceded in death by her beloved fur baby, Jake, her Father, Fredrick Carter, her Mother, Donna Carter, and her Sister, Candi.
