Lynn Arthur Dau

Lynn Arthur Dau was born on March 7, 1958 in Algona, Iowa to Duane and Elizabeth Dau. He moved with his family to Oregon City when he was 3 years old. He graduated from Oregon City High School in 1977 and then enlisted in the US Army. He served honorably as a Calvary Scout stationed in Germany and guarding the border between East and West Germany. He was discharged in 1981 at the rank of Sergeant. He married Kathi Dyal in 1980 and together they had two children, Jesse and Jamie. They divorced in 1990. He then married Christy Booth in 1990 and completed the family with Christy’s son, Adam. During this time, Lynn worked for Blue Heron Paper mill until it closed in 2011, he then worked for Johnson Control until his death. Lynn was an avid sportsman, hunting, fishing and camping whenever he had the opportunity. He enjoyed spending time at the Oregon coast, in the mountains and at every river and lake with fish in the state. He also enjoyed traveling to Hawaii, Vegas and Reno. Lynn passed away surrounded by his loving family on January 5 in Clackamas following a brief illness. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Christy. His children, Jesse, Jamie and Adam. Grandchildren; Steven, Kendra, Coral and Kinley. His parents, Brothers Ricky Darren, and sister, Susan.
