Obituary

Annelee (Anne) Jourdan passed away peacefully in her Molalla, OR home surrounded by family on Thursday October 8th, she was 76 years old.

Born January 31st, 1950 to Max and Katheryn Wilson of Billings, MT, Anne lived her life in the constant company of friends, family, laughter and art.

A graduate of Billings Senior High, Anne earned a degree in art education from Eastern Montana University. In June of 1975, married Michael Jourdan on the Stillwater River in Nye, Montana; starting a 51 year journey that took them to Fairbanks Alaska, Edmonton Alberta, back to Billings and eventually settling in Molalla Oregon for the past 25 years (with a short stretch back to Alaska in between). Along this journey Anne found her professional purpose in non-profit work where she made impacts in Alaska native communities, environmental causes and in education.

With Anne’s unwavering dedication to her family (raising 3 boys) and work, she carried her love of art wherever she went. She was a talented artist across all mediums, and loved oils and acrylic painting most of all. Anne enriched those who knew her and beyond with her passion for the arts.

Anne also had quite a green thumb and she could often be found, during the growing season, tending her large garden of tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, carrots and beets to name just a few of her annual crop. Anne loved garden fresh tomatoes and corn and reminisced about the fruits of her own childhood.

Anne is preceded in death by her parents Max and Kathyrn Wilson and her brother Steven Wilson.

Anne is survived by her husband Michael Jourdan, her 3 adoring sons, Pryor Jourdan (Casey), Tallas Jourdan (Jessica), Theron Jourdan (Kelsey), and her brother Rem Wilson (Sherrie). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren: Tanner, Kaylee, June, Mirra, Liam, Killian, Neve, Rowan and Stokes.

A service will be held in Everett Hall at Hopkins Demonstration Forest on Sunday, November 8, 2026 from 1pm - 3pm.
