Barbara Christine Kropp was born November 11th, 1951 in Moline, Illinois. She was daughter to Mary Margret Baker and Robert Warren Kropp. She was the youngest of five, with four older sisters, Janet, Mary Ann, Kathleen and Susan. After graduating from Alleman High School in 1969, Barbara moved from Rock Island, Illinois to Portland, Oregon. She attended Portland State University, where she studied art and psychology. Shortly after moving to the Rose City, she met Mark Perino, who she would go on to marry and have three beautiful children with; Serra Katherine (44), Ruppert Zachary (34) and Zoie Elizabeth (31). She went on to spend many years working in customer service and loved connecting with her patrons from the community. Barbara enjoyed spending time in her backyard with her cats, tending to her garden, cooking, watching her favorite television shows and spending time with her family. Barbara was the "Nanna" to ten grandchildren, Cal (26), Malia (24), Ayza (22), Tone (21), Sarah (20), Marcus (18), Chamille (17), Madison (15), Sammie (14), and Leighton (1).
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial for Barbara on Sunday, September 5th at 3 o'clock in the afternoon at the Hillside Chapel in Oregon City, Oregon.
