Barbara (Bobbie) Jean Stinchfield, 91, passed away peacefully and in comfort on April 4, 2019 in Oregon City, Oregon. Bobbie was born in Los Angeles, California on July 16, 1927 to parents William Justice and Irene Board. Bobbie had one brother Edward, two sisters Mary and Cleo. When they were small their father passed away after a long illness. Her mom packed them all up and moved back to Kentucky, where her family was. Bobbie spent her childhood in Kentucky.

In 1945 Bobbie met her future husband at Fort Knox, Kentucky, Jack Vernon Bristol. Jack was in the army stationed there, when she met him. Then he was shipped overseas during WWII. When he returned, they were married and moved to Oregon, living in the Sunset (West Linn) area. They had three children; Jack Vernon Bristol, Jr., Linda Kay Bristol (Germany), Michael Edward Bristol. When her children were young, her husband Jack passed away.

Bobbie met Anthony (Tony) Robert Grand in 1958, when they both were working at Publishers Paper Company in Oregon City. They married and had three children Brenda Jean (Travis), Anthony (Tony) Robert, and Mark Anthony. When Brenda, Tony, and Mark were in their teens, their father passed away.

A few years later Bobbie met and married George Stinchfield. They lived on a farm near Mulino, Oregon. Bobbie had a lovely flower garden on the farm. She spent a lot of hours tending her yard. When George passed away unexpectantly, she left the farm after a short period and moved to Oregon City.

She continued to have her flowers and a lovely yard. In the summer she continued to spend hours tending to her flowers and yard. In her later years, in the winter months, when she could no longer work in her yard. She loved to go to the Casino's with her friends.

Bobbie leaves behind her children, eleven grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren. She will be missed very much by her family and friends, but we will always have memories of our time with her.
