It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Carol Jean Dewey who was born in Oregon City, OR on January 1, 1944 and went home peacefully on October 22, 2025.

Carol was the devoted wife of John Dewey and the proud mother of Tami, Tony, and Tracy. She was also a deeply cherished grandmother to Alliyah, LJ, Josh, April, Tony Jr., Jacob, and Alex, and a beloved sister to her 11 siblings. Family meant everything to Carol – her love, laughter, and strength formed the heart of every gathering.

Carol had a heart of gold that touched everyone who knew her. She loved spending time in her garden surrounded by flowers and rhubarb, tending to her plants and coy fish with care and joy. She found peace on the Island of Maui where the beauty and warmth matched her own spirit. Her cooking brought people together, and her fiery personality, mixed with endless kindness, made her unforgettable.

Carol's life was a beautiful example of love, generosity, and resilience. She will forever be remembered for her giving heart, her vibrant energy, and her ability to make everyone feel at home.

Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family, friends and all those lucky enough to have known her.
