Carolyn "Dee" (Flem) Bassen
Aug. 8, 1950 - April 17, 2021

Dee Bassen of Milwaukie, OR died on April 17th, 2021 after a short fight with cancer. Born in Portland, OR in 1950, her parents and 3 sisters lived in West Linn where she graduated high school in 1968.

Dee was a stay-at-home mom until starting work at Sunset Elementary School in West Linn. She retired in 2010 after 25 years of service from a job she dearly loved.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Bob. Their daughter Tami, born in 1974, married Jason Smith of Canby and had 2 kids, Taylor & Kaden. Their Son Casey, born in 1976, married Nicole Coon of West Linn and had 2 kids, Quinn & Hailey.

She is deeply missed by all who called her their friend. Her smile will never be forgotten.
