Charlotte Irene Campbell was born in Fairfield, Iowa on June 25, 1938. She was always a conscientious and hard working person from the time she began working for her parents, Roy and Alice, in their café in Iowa until the day she retired from her job as a Quality Assurance Engineer for an electronics firm. She loved the people she worked with at both Tektronix and Micro Systems in Oregon.
Her first job outside the home, however, was as a public school teacher because she loved kids more than anything. She especially loved her own children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and was always there for any of them whenever they needed anything. That is what her family will remember her for most of all.
She is survived by her older sister, Katie McClurg Allison; her children Kathleen Jeskey, Michael Hagans, Laurie Ferrell, Barry Hagans, and Shannon Leveton;; her grandchildren Malia Geister, Leilani Heale, James Sandsness, Miranda Ferrell, Patrick Ferrell, Mike Ciantos, Kristy Ciantos, Johnny Ciantos, Kyle Stinger, and Jenna Stinger; and her great-grandchildren Holden Geister, Arbor Geister, and Lily Meyer.
We will not be holding a memorial service at this time but hope to in the future when we are able to gather again. In lieu of flowers we are asking that donations be made to the Friends of Lake Darling near the town of Brighton, Iowa where our mom spent the majority of her childhood and which always held a special place in her heart. Find information on how to donate here:

You can also donate using a credit card directly here (a 4% servicing fee is charged to Friends of Lake Darling at this link):
