Janie was an active member in her community and served in the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary for 48 years. She was an avid bowler who enjoyed bowling with friends in their weekly league and traveled around the country competing in State and National tournaments. She was an active member of the Timeless Treasure's Doll Club, where she proudly shared her impressive personal doll collection. Janie was also a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church, volunteering her time in various church activities.

Family and friends were Janie's passion and delight. Her greatest joy was baby's, she spent her life collecting dolls, making baby clothes and adoring all of her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She would always have the biggest smile on her face when she could hold one of the baby's in our family. She also enjoyed family gatherings at her home on all major holidays and any other excuse to celebrate life. Janie's love of family was as beautiful as it was great. She was blessed with an abundance of family and friends and will be missed by so many.

Janie is survived by her children, Tony Toman, Allen Toman, Janie Wills, Margie Toman and Jim Toman. She also leaves behind 16 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, numerous loving relatives and countless friends. The family wishes to thank all of those who visited her during her final days, your love and support for her during this time meant so much to her and her family.

Clara (Janie) Toman, age 89 of Oregon City, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017. She was proceeded in death by her Son Dan Toman and her husband, Glen Toman. She was born to the late Anton and Mildred Sanetel on August 22, 1927.
