Cynthia Marie Santos was born on November 25, 1972 to Robert and Rose Santos at Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines. When Cindy was 2 years old, her family was transferred to the United States and lived in North Dakota for a little over a year. After the short stay in North Dakota, the family was then transferred to Louisiana before her father retired from the military, sending the family on one last move to Oregon.

In 1997, Cindy married Randy MacDonald where she was privileged to have gained a loving bonus son, Travis. Together Cindy and Randy had two beautiful children, Hailey Rose and Marshall T.

As soon as her children were old enough to attend school Cindy stepped into action, volunteering to help in school activities in any way she could. From this she built her career as an Instructional Assistant in the Molalla River School District. She had a very special way with children; her loving presence and gentle way is where all of the children in her life found comfort, peace and security.

Cindy spent her life building lasting relationships with everyone she encountered, both young and old alike. Cindy's untimely passing has left a void in all of the lives she touched.

She is survived by her parents, Robert and Rose Santos; her husband Randy MacDonald; her daughter Hailey and sons Marshall and Travis MacDonald (Crystal); her sister Kathy Holter (Jack); her nephew Robert Donovan (Marcia and family), and her best friend, Tara Cunningham (Kelly).
