Deborah Jean Iverson (Masseth) passed away on October 11, 2018 from complications with advanced cancer. She was 68.
Debbie was born December 9, 1949 in Portland Oregon to her parents, Gilbert and Ursula Masseth. She graduated from Gresham High School and cosmetology school in the 1960's. Marrying in 1969, and eventually moving to Sandy, Debbie started her family and returning to Gresham in the 80's. She had three children; Jacob Ronald Iverson, Bryan Gilbert Iverson and Ursula Jean Kuntz.
Debbie spent her adult life cutting hair for people. She truly loved working with people. She owned and worked in beauty shops all the way up until her diagnosis with lung cancer. She was extremely dedicated and kind to her clients, family and children.
Ms. Iverson is survived by her daughter and son's, Jacob and April Iverson of Sandpoint, ID, Bryan and Vikki Iverson of Prineville, OR, Jason and Ursula Kuntz of Gresham, OR; her mother, Ursula Masseth; her sisters Cindy Hutchings, and Yvette Strebin; her brother, Bruce Masseth; and seven grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her brothers Brad Masseth and Bob Masseth; her sister, Nancy Masseth (Burt).
A Celebration of Life will be November 3rd, 2018 at 1pm at East Hill Church in Gresham Oregon. 701 N Main Ave, Gresham, OR 97030. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Debbie Iverson's life..
