Doris Amatter-Durrer, age 83, passed away on December 13, 2023.

Doris was born in Zurich Switzerland to Joseph and Barbara Durrer. Doris married Bruno Amatter, on July 6, 1968, in Emaus, Switzerland.

Doris and Bruno owned a Printing Company in Portland, Oregon and retired in 2013. They enjoyed traveling until she came down with kidney disease in 2020 and kept fighting it to the end.

Doris was preceded in death by Her Parents and Sister Leni Messer.

Doris is survived by her sister Maggie Born, Brother-in-Law Claus Born, Bruno's sister Erika Giroud, Bruno's brother Ueli Grossenbacher, Niece Ines Balmer-Messer, and Nephew Juerg Messer.

She was my wife, best friend, best business partner and all around wonderful human being. I will miss her dearly.

The Cremation will be December 30, 2023. There will be a Mass read at Our Lady of Guadalupe Trappist Abbey in Carlton, Oregon, date to be determined.

Doris's favorite charity was Meals on Wheels of Oregon City, any donations can be made in her memory.
