A beautiful soul left us holding her son's hand on a sunny afternoon, on October 5th, 2024, for Paradise.

Doris was the best mother a son could ever ask for, and the best Mother-In-Law a daughter-in-law could ever hope for and have. Endings are the hardest in life. However, we are rejoicing knowing she is with God, her husband Gene, her son Dale and all of her beloved cats and dogs.

The family wants to extend a heartfelt thanks to the amazing staff at Tanner Springs and Tenderly Hospice for their love, care, compassion and support of our mom.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the West Linn Lutheran Church in her memory. Doris will be laid to rest next to her husband and son at Willamette National Cemetery.

Til we meet again mom, sing with the Angel choir and soar with the eagles.
