Dorothy Beakey, 86, passed away on July 10, 2024, in Oregon City, OR.

Dorothy Beakey was born on September 21, 1937 in Portland, Oregon, to Leo Wojcik and Helena Wojcik. She had an older sister Gladys and a younger brother Leon.

Dorothy graduated from Grant High School. She started her career as a secretary and went on to work for JC Pennys and retired from Fred Meyers and had several secretarial jobs in between.

Dorothy loved to play tennis at an early age and later lesrned and loved to golf. But her greatest joy was traveling. She traveled many places, too many to mention.

Dorothy is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Dorothy is preceded in death by Leo Wojcik - father, Helena Wojcik - mother, Richard Blinsman - nephew, Gladys Blinsman - sister and Leon Wojcik - brother.

Dorothy will be missed by many, including her caregivers at McLoughlin Place Senior Living.
