Ernest Mitchell "Mitch" Minor passed away on January 24, 2026, in Oregon City, Oregon, at the age of 60. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by many.
Mitch was born on November 25, 1965, in Miami, Florida. He was a devoted father and the most fun and thoughtful grandpa.
Mitch was known for his love of family, his generous heart, and his willingness to help anyone at any time. He loved making and listening to music, sharing it with others, and exploring all that the Pacific Northwest had to offer, especially its waterfalls. Mitch never met a stranger, and he poured himself into making sure everyone around him knew they were loved.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sandy and Larry Minor, Sr. He is survived by the love of his life, Lori Tinsley; his three beloved daughters, Carrie (James), Chrissy (Mike), and Lilly; and his six grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Becky (Eddie) Gallegos, Larry Minor Jr. (Tina Bialas), Rachel (Dan) Kleser, and David Minor; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Mitch knew Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and his family takes great comfort in entrusting him to the mercy and grace of God, and in the hope we have in Christ. As we grieve, we hold fast to the promise of Revelation 21:4 — that God will wipe away every tear, and that death will not have the final word.
A celebration of life will be immediately followed after the service at the VFW at 104 Tumwater Dr, Oregon City, Oregon 97045.
