Obituary

Born in Portland, Oregon to Margaret and Frank Albert Dunsmuir, Frances spent most of her childhood years in Sandy, She met Wayne Ernest Morris and they married on September 30, 1937. They spent their lives living in Portland and later at the Boneville Dam. After retiring they settled in the Beaver Creek Area.



Frances was active in the lives of her nieces and nephews and is survived by many. She loved to fish, camp, oil paint, read, can, cook, and garden. She was an active member in Clarkes Garden Club and enjoyed making Christmas swags and delivering them during the holidays. She was a member of the Elks Lodge in Oregon City #1189, where each year she looked forward to the Elks Fishing Derby. At 89, she still enjoyed salmon fishing on the Willamette. All year long she would collect teddy bears for kids and looked forward to being a part of the Elks Annual Easter Egg Hunt.



A funeral service was held Tuesday January 17, 2012 at Hillside Chapel in Oregon City. She is survived by her 3 Children: David Morris, Jack Morris, and Susan Morris-Larson; 7 Grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren. Donations can be made in Frances' name to The Oregon City Elks Lodge Roof Fund.
