Obituary

Gale Kishpaugh, born July 3, 1944 in Oregon City, OR, passed away unexpectedly on September 13, 2021 at the age of 77 years. Gale is survived by his two adult children, Stacy and Greg, two grandchildren, Matthew and Joshua, and his elder brother Gary.

Gale achieved many degrees including an Associate of Arts in History from Clackamas Community College, a Bachelor of Science from Portland State University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Lewis and Clark College. Gale then taught History professionally for many years at the High School level.

Prior to his teaching career, Gale served in the Oregon Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve as a Radio Relay Equipment Repairman.

Gale loved the outdoors of Oregon and never wanted to travel too far away from his childhood home. Gale was an avid camper and fisherman, taking his young children on numerous camping adventures. Gale's love of the outdoors also led him to a firewood business with his brother Gary, spending many days in the Oregon forests.

Gale loved his family and is now with his father LLoyd, mother Opal and younger brother Rex who preceded him in death. A celebration of Gale's life will be held at Mt. View Cemetery in Oregon City on Wednesday, March 23, 2022.
