Gary H. Lindland passed away peacefully after battling cancer. He is survived by his loving wife, Marlee; brothers, Steve and Mark; sister, Janet; daughters, Deanna Komp and Sharon Wright; and granddaughters, Sydney, Audrey, and Faith.
Gary was born in Portland, graduated from Canby High School in 1960 and earned a BSEE degree from Oregon State University in 1964. He served in the U.S. Army, then worked for Portland General Electric for the next 35 years.
Gary was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will truly be missed. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016, at First Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Oregon City, 1321 Linn Ave. The family requests in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute.
