Irene C Ford-White peacefully passed from her life here on earth to her eternal place in heaven on June 1st, 2022. She was 100.5 born to the late Albert and Elizabeth Greve in Lanigan, Sask, Canada on December 22nd, 1921. Raised on a working farm with her 3 late sisters. She attended a one room school for all grades and soon after graduating 12th grade she left for the United States and never looked back, becoming an American citizen in the 1940's.
Irene married the late Ralph "DOC" Ford of West Linn, Oregon in 1952 and together they had a daughter Pamela Irene. Widowed in 1987. Irene wed the late Richard "Dick" White in 1990, also residing in West Linn. Then widowed again in 2012.
She was working for the local papermill, Crown Zellerbach in the 1960's. Then working until age 88 for M.L. Gatewood Co. doing piece work from home.
As a Christian, Irene loved to share the gospel and her personal testimony of answered prayers, healings, visions, and close encounters with the LORD! Involved with Gladstone Assembly of God most of her Christian walk. She faithful wherever the LORD led her.
Irene loved working in her garden, building anything she desired. She loved interior design and the Victorian era. She played the organ and loved tole painting and she was very accomplished seamstress.
Preceded in death by her husband Ralph Ford in 1987 and husband Richard White in 2012. Also, her sisters Agnes Smith in 2012, Vera Prange in 2017 and Evelyn Gunther in 2018.
She is survived by her daughter Pamela Irene Burton and son-in-law Clyde Burton, 5 grandsons, their wives and mothers to her 7 great granddaughters.
