Jacob passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and was a resident of Portland for the last ten years.
Jacob was an accomplished hair stylist at Bishop's barbershop and a talented DJ at CC Slaughters club in downtown Portland. Jacob was a strong independent self-made man who loved making people happy and feel good about themselves.
Jacob is survived by his devoted mother, Shirley Gonzales. Brother Benjamin Gonzales and his Grandpa William Gonzales, all of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is also survived by his aunts & uncles; Linda, Frances, Billy, Robert and spouse Susan, Juanita and spouse Charles and many cousins and friends, & by his father Robert Shroyer. He is also survived his loving partner, Eric Duncan and the Jeff Duncan family. He is preceded in death by his grandma, Alice Gonzales.
