Janet (Jan) Ruth Miller, 86, of Clackamas, Oregon, passed away on January 9, 2026. Janet was born on October 18, 1939 in Bend, Oregon to William and Velma Tweedie.

Jan attended school in Central Oregon, Downey, California and graduated from Willamette High School in Eugene, Oregon in 1957. Jan was crowned Emerald Empire Roundup Queen her senior year.

Jan attended the University of Oregon, and then pursued a career in banking, focusing on customer service, marketing, branch management, and she also served as Vice President. Before retiring, her title was the Director of Marketing at Mary's Woods in West Linn, Oregon, where she met many friends.

Jan is survived by her daughter, Holly (Gary); son, Erik Holte; grandson, Taylor (Erinn); great granddaughter, Caia; brother, Douglas (Angela), and several nieces and nephews.

Jan was loved by all and her care and thoughtfulness was the gold standard. You can tell if your life was well lived by your family and friends, of which she had many. She will be greatly missed.
