Obituary

Life has a funny way of teaching us.
It will create deep sadness, so we know how to truly understand happiness.
It will create chaos in our lives so that we may appreciate the peaceful times and it will take those we love away from us so that we will truly understand what their presence meant to us.

Jeannette "Netter" Puderbaugh, 85 years old, passed away suddenly on May 25, 2018. She was born August 16, 1932 in Oregon City, Oregon to Gregory and Bea Gerber (deceased). She was married to Don Boswell and had four children; Brenda Lange (Dan), Bend, Oregon. Steve Boswell (deceased), Molalla, Oregon. Jeff Boswell (Sue), Aurora, Oregon. Kim Forrer (Jay), Molalla, Oregon. They later divorced and in March of 1958 she married Robert Puderbaugh who preceded her in death in 1990. Together they had four children; Mike Puderbaugh, Redland, Oregon. Becky Powell, Sandy, Oregon. Geri Cote (Brian), Damascus, Oregon. Teri Puderbaugh, Damascus, Oregon.
Jeannette worked at Jared's Outdoor N' More in Oregon City, Oregon until the store closed in the mid 1980's. She then went to work at the Oregon City Elks Lodge as a cocktail waitress and bartender and then as a bartender at the Gladstone Cardroom. She made a countless number of friends at all three places, loved her friends as if they were family, and loved spending time with all of them.
Jeannette was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Oregon City Elks Lodge and was the President from 1976 – 1977. She was also a part of the woman's bowling league for several years and enjoyed playing golf with her friends.
Netter was the Raiders #1 fan. She watched football every Sunday and if it wasn't football season you could find her watching golf, Nascar or a variety of cooking channels. She loved reading a good thriller, suspense or romance novel.
Jeannette left behind countless grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will all miss her kindness and love.
