Obituary

Jeffrey Wayne Stanford passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024. He was born on December 12, 1957, to Carl Clayton Stanford and Norma "Louise" Jacobson in Newberg, Oregon. Jeff grew up in Clackamas County Oregon, primarily Milwaukie Oregon. He had four brothers, Clayton, Alton, John, and Leland. Jeff was the youngest of the five of them. He spent his younger years playing outdoors, going down to the Clackamas River and riding his bike. He attended Rex Putnam High School and graduated in 1976.

Soon after graduation, Jeff enlisted into the Air Force. He had his training in Denver, Colorado. After his 20-month training was complete, he was stationed in Mt Home, Idaho. Shortly after reporting for duty in Idaho, Jeff was sent over to England. He was there for roughly two years. Jeff loved everything about England. It was there that he was blessed with his first son, Gary. Jeff got out of the service in 1981 and came home to the US.

In 1983, Jeff moved to Washington and was hired on by the Boeing Company. Jeff was a loyal Boeing union employee for 33 years. While living in Washington, Jeff was blessed with three daughters, Katherine and twins, Jennifer & Jessica. He then was blessed again when his son Brian was born. He was a Scout Master in the Boy Scouts for a time when his children were young.

In 2014, Jeff met the love of his life, Krystal. They were married in 2015. At that moment, Jeff was blessed with his youngest son, Oscar. All six children stood up at Jeff and Krystal's wedding; either by their side or as ring bearer.

Jeff retired from Boeing at the end of 2016. He then moved to back to Oregon to be with his bride and closer to his brother Lee. As a retiree, Jeff was able to explore the many passions and hobbies that he only dabbled in during his working years. He loved collecting coins, wood working, playing guitar, camping, metal detecting, rock hounding, star gazing, antiquing and throwing darts. Golf was a big passion for Jeff. He played golf at least once a week, seven months of the year.

Jeff was the most kindhearted, loving, funny, honest, handsome and giving man. He loved his family passionately. Everywhere Jeff went, he always made new friends. He is loved by all, friends and family alike.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents Carl & Louise, his brothers, Clay, Al & John and his daughter Kristan. Jeff is survived by his wife Krystal, brother Lee(Mary), children Gary(Sara), Katherine(Tony), Jenny(Mark), Robert, Jessi(Jake), Brian(Romina) & Oscar and his 17 grandchildren.
