John Gray, 74, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2025.

John Gray was born on October 8, 1950, in Corvallis, OR, to John R. Gray and Betty Gray.
John graduated from David Douglas High School in 1969 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science from Portland State University in 1975. He worked at two local engineering firms until 1982 when he started G2 Associates with his late father. He was licensed as a Geologist in Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Idaho, & Arizona. His work took him all over the Pacific Northwest, but his passion was the jobs both commercial and residential all along the Oregon Coast. He loved it so much that he and Mary Ann ended up buying a place near Tillamook, which they aptly named the Gray Getaway and stayed at frequently both when he had a job, or they just wanted to escape city life for the weekend.

John sang professionally with the Portland Corral & Portland Opera and sang at events like the Mt Hood Jazz Festival.

John married Mary Ann Gray on March 18, 1972, in Portland, OR. The couple had 1 child, Sean Gray.
John is survived by his wife Mary Ann Gray, son Sean Gray, grandson Henry Gray, and sisters Jane, Kelly, & Judy. John is preceded in death by his father John Gray and mother Betty Gray.
