Joseph Albert Manassero passed peacefully on November 22, 2024, with his loving family at his side; he was 81 years old.

Joe was born March 18, 1943, to his parents Joseph and Mitzi Manassero. Joe married his beloved wife Cheryl on July 10, 1965, and they spent an amazing life together for 59 ½ years. Family was everything to Joe and he wanted a big one. He and his wife welcomed their four children JoAnne (Husband Mike), Michelle (Husband Dan), Joe (Wife Heather), and Dan (Wife Jennifer). Joes wish of a big family came true and he also leaves behind nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, and his faithful dog Buck.
Joe made a career in long haul truck driving where he worked for most of his career for Payless. Joe retired in 2000. After his retirement Joe also had the privilege of training drivers for TriMet Lift.

As a young adult 1960-1968 Joe spent his years serving his country in the Navy. He often talked about his Naval adventures on the USS Maury Naval Ship where he got to experience places such as Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, Hawaii, and many others. Joe was very proud of his service to his country and loved to share so many stories.

Joe's love, his stories, and his presence will forever be missed.

A graveside service will be held December 16, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Willamette National Cemetery for family and friends.
