Joyce Elizabeth Silva (née Warthen)
1962-2025

Joyce Silva, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025, leaving a legacy of love and kindness.

Joyce was born in Oregon City in 1962 to Richard and Donna Warthen, and lived her life in beautiful Portland, Oregon, and surrounding areas.

Joyce found beauty in life's simple pleasures—watching birds from her backyard, savoring a good cup of black coffee, and admiring the changing seasons, especially autumn's vibrant colors. She shared love generously, saw the best in others, and valued every life she touched.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Richard & Donna, as well as two sisters; she is survived by her children, Beth Zirbes, Daniel Silva, Dustin Silva, Donna Arnold – along with 10 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, and her remaining siblings.

At this time, the family will be honoring her memory privately during this holiday season. A celebration of life, to include extended family, friends and coworkers, will take place in 2026. More information to be provided at a later date. In her remembrance, the family would like to continue her support of St Jude's Children's Hospital and, in lieu of flowers, donations to this organization in her name are greatly appreciated.
