Klara continued to mentor, guide, and provide loving care to her children throughout. Following her husband's passing she worked at the European Health Spa in Portland eventually becoming the manager of numerous locations in Portland and the surrounding areas.
Klara enjoyed traveling which including going on cruises. She loved animals and always had a dog that she lavished love on. Klara had a dry and good spirited sense of humor that all she came into contact with enjoyed.
Klara is survived by her sons Lewis Holbrook of Seaside Oregon; Bruce Holbrook of Oregon City Oregon; and her beloved grandchildren Adrian, Sean, and Jenny.
Klara will be buried with her husband Bruce at the Willamette National Cemetery. The burial and service will be private.
