Kristine Marie Anderson passed away on May 1, 2023 at the age of 72, in Portland, Oregon. She was born December 5, 1950 in Eugene, Oregon to Ivan and Mary Louise Havercroft. She spent the majority of her life living in Oregon City, Oregon and moved to Molalla with her daughter in October of 2019.

Kris went to Howard Elementary School, Colin Kelly Junior High and North Eugene High School. Kris was a Girl Scout and also played the clarinet. She performed in many band concerts. After the completion of high school she attended Lane Community College and then onto The University of Oregon, where she studied Physical Education/Health.

She was born into a Duck loving family. Her love for the University of Oregon Ducks was like no other. She attended many U of O football games and U of O basketball games throughout her life. Always with a big smile on her face and saying one of her favorite phrases which was "Go Ducks". That love was shown greatly and was passed down to her children.

Kris stayed at home with her two children until she started working for Oregon City School district in 1990 and then for Target soon after. Kris worked in the school kitchen as a cooks helper and loved her job, always ready to be there with a smile on her face. She was a cashier at Target and truly loved that. She had many customers who would wait in the line just so they could go through her check lane. She retired from Target a few years ago and was working for the school district up until her passing. She was one busy lady.

Kris loved spending time with her family, especially her two granddaughters, whom she adored. Kris also loved the outdoors, flowers, gardening, feeding her birds, sports, animals, etc. She also enjoyed going out to different restaurants and meeting new people who became friends. Kris enjoyed the shopping experience where she would find a treasure or two for our house.

Kris is survived by her two loving children; Kayla Anderson of Molalla, Codie Anderson, his wife Tanisha and their 2 daughters Scotlyn and Teagan of Hillsboro. Also she is survived by her brother, Rick Havercroft and his wife Cyndi of Keizer. Kris is also survived by her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle and lots of cousins whom she loved a lot. Kris loved her family and friends so much!

Kris was preceded in death by her parents Ivan and Mary Louise Havercroft.

A Celebration of Life for Kris will be held on Saturday June 24th, 2023 at 1pm. At River Shelter located in the Memorial Park in Wilsonville.
