Larry passed away on July 27, 2019 after a long illness. He was born in Nebraska July 23, 1939 but lived his life in what he called God's Country (Oregon). Her served in the US Navy from 1959-1963 and as a police officer in Oregon City from 1964-1989. He is survived by his wife Joyce of 59 years, and his 3 children: Michael Long (Toni), David Long (Diana), and Daarinda Leers (Alan), along with 9 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. A memorial service is being held on August 2, 2019 at Willamette National Cemetery. Please arrive early.
