Linda Britton, age 73, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in West Linn, Oregon, surrounded by her loving family.

Linda was born on December 19, 1952, in Boscobel, Wisconsin, to George and Mary (Promenschenkel) Pivet. She graduated from Boscobel High School in 1971 and began her career in the food service industry, where she met her husband, Michael Francis Britton. They were married in 1974 and shared many years of love, adventure, and devotion. Later, Linda pursued a career in healthcare after earning a degree in Mental Health Rehabilitation.

Throughout her life, Linda lived in Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Indiana before making the Pacific Northwest her home for more than 20 years. One of her proudest accomplishments was building her own home in Brightwood, Oregon. She had an adventurous spirit and loved traveling, riding motorcycles, and embracing new experiences. During her final months, her greatest joy came from spending precious time with her beloved grandchildren, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

Linda's determination, independence, and unwavering love for her family defined her life. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Francis Britton; her parents, George and Mary Pivet; her brothers, Richard Joseph Pivet and Peter Pivet; and her brothers-in-law, Michael Quelhorst and Douglas Ivan of Monona, Wisconsin; and nephew, Case McCutchin of Madison, Wisconsin.

Linda is survived by her son, Craig Michael (Tricia) Britton of West Linn, Oregon; her cherished grandchildren, Alexandra and Daniel Britton of West Linn; her sisters, Kathy (David) Roelli of Darlington, Wisconsin, and Rose Quelhorst of Bismarck, North Dakota; her sisters-in-law, Angie (Jim) Spahr of Madison, Wisconsin, Dawn Ivan (Ted McCutchin), of Madison, Wisconsin, and Kirsten (John) Harris of Marianna, Florida/Madison; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
