**Linda's service has been rescheduled to Friday, January 20 due to weather concerns.**
Linda passed away peacefully and pain free in her sleep, on the evening of January 2, 2017. She was just shy of turning 101 years old on January 25. She is survived by her husband, Wes, and they had been married for 52 years.
She was one of nine children, the daughter of Edward and Lydia Bittner, and she was born in Clackamas Heights. She attended Sellwood Grade School and Girls Polytechnic High School.
Linda worked at the Oregon Worsted Woolen Mills in Milwaukee, for 33 years. Later she worked and retired from PakWell Paper Company
Linda was very active in the Beavercreek United Church of Christ. She gave her time to deliver Meals on Wheels, and she volunteered at the Senior Center. She worked with Loaves and Fishes, and helped with meals at the Kendel Center.
She was loved by all, and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
The family is especially grateful to Tatiana, her wonderful caregiver for the past year, and to Comfort Care Hospice. A celebration of her life will be held at the Beavercreek United Church of Christ, at 1:00p.m. on Monday, January 9. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the United Church of Christ Building Fund, or to Doernbecher Children's Hospital.
