Lorraine Lois Howell passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her children. She was born in Emmons County North Dakota to Mathew & Lula Langeliers, the last of 6 children who came to West Linn during the Dust Bowl of 1934. Lorraine worked as a cook & waitress for 35 years at Howells Restaurant in Oregon City. She married Charles Howell in 1978.
Once the couple retired, they moved to Beavercreek where they enjoyed gardening, mom crafts and their dachshunds Heidi, Katie & Annie.
Lorraine is survived by her 3 children: Nancy Minus Tisdale (Tom), Linda Moore and Randy Call. Grandchildren; Jeff Minus and Ryan Moore (Nichola), 4 greatgrandchildren; Ashton & Tori Moore, Maxwell & Myles Minus.
A Celebration of life is planned for a later date, Lorraine will be laid to rest privately alongside her husband Charles, at Willamette National Cemetery.
