Luke Josiah Sigler passed away on January 6th, at the young age of 32.
Luke is survived by his wife Grace Allen and their beloved cat Peekaboo,
mother Tammy Shadel, her husband Steve Shadel, and father Chuck Sigler.
Luke was the third oldest of an amazing, blended family, Sarah Sigler, Robert
Shadel, Rebekah and husband Devon Thayer, Joey and wife Abbey Shadel
and Rachel and husband Tyler Hanson, as well as many aunts, uncles and
cousins who will miss him dearly.
Everyone who met Luke loved him. He was kind to everyone, very smart
and had a great sense of humor. As a young boy and into his adult life, he
loved Legos, Star Wars, Jurassic Park, creepy crawlies (especially spiders)
and food. His greatest joy was meeting Grace 12 years ago as they both
worked at Fred Meyers. Together they became accomplished foodies,
developed a passion for gaming, loved the ocean, and just being together.
As many know, Luke, with Grace by his side, spent the last year battling
cancer. Though he lost this battle, he has victory in Heaven feasting at the
ultimate banquet! Luke's passing has left a void in the hearts of his family,
friends, coworkers and many more whose lives were touched by him. We
ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it
was lived, and for the impact it had on the lives of those who had the
pleasure of knowing him. May his memory be a blessing, and may we carry
forth his legacy of love and compassion in all that we do
