Madeline Celeste Wentzel Turner returned to God's loving embrace on July 31, 2024, peacefully in her sleep. She was born in Oregon City, Oregon on July 11, 1940 to Lloyd and Martha Wentzel, the oldest of 7 children.

Madeline is preceded in death by her husband "Chuck" Buford Charles Turner, she is survived by her children: Rick Schneider, Diana Long, Mark Turner and their spouses, and her bonus sons Larry, Robert and Donald and spouses; her 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Madeline attended Trinity Lutheran School and graduated from Oregon City High School in 1958. Madeline was an avid reader during her lifetime and the adventures she enjoyed on the page would sometimes steer there way into her RV adventures which she shared with her husband Chuck. Among the things she loved were: Elvis music, pink flamingos, the color purple and trivia games. She enjoyed her birthday casino trips, attending church as she was able, and family get-togethers. She will be remembered for the genealogical treasures she acquired in her lifetime, plus the deep love and affection she held for her family.

A service in her honor will be held at 10:00am on August 16th, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 16000 S. Henrici Road, Oregon City, OR 97045, with a brief reception to follow.
