John Martin and DeEtte LaRene Butler Caswell welcomed their third daughter, Marilee Anne, on November 26, 1943. Marilee grew up in Timber Lake, attended Holy Cross and Timber Lake grade schools and graduated from Timber Lake High School in 1961.
After graduation Marilee moved to Oregon, where she became a hairdresser with Myone Beauty Salon in Milwaukie. She had numerous faithful clients with whom stayed in contact through the years.
On November 20, 1971, in Milwaukie, Marilee and Laurence Wayne Rowley were married. On January 17, 1974 twin daughters, Carrie and LeAnne, were born.
Wayne and Marilee moved to Burns, OR in their retirement years where they enjoyed raising cattle and crops.
Marilee died peacefully at St. Charles Medical Center in Bend, OR on March 19, 2018. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 18 at 12:45 at Hillside Chapel, 1306 7th st., Oregon City, OR. Interment will follow at Willamette National Cemetery at 2:30.
Marilee is survived by her husband, L. Wayne Rowley; her sister Gail Caswell Freeman (husband Joesph); her mother-in-law, Pearl Debow; and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother David, sister Luella Caswell Crain, and her daughters Carrie and LeAnne.
