Marjorie L. Miller of Canby died October 18, 2018. She was born September 10, 1931 in Charleston, West Virginia to Ike and Clara Crosswhite. She graduated from Charleston High School in 1948 and went to business school. In 1950 moved to Portland and went to work at the S.P.S. Railroad as a payroll clerk. She met Homer Miller while working at the Railroad and then married 6 months later. They were married for 50 years. Homer passed away April 4, 2007. She is survived by her son Thomas and wife Chu and daughter Theresa and husband Steve Canterbury, son Terry who passed away on September 4, 1994. 7 grandkids and 8 great grandkids. She was a member of Zoar Lutheran Church, Canby Adult Center, American Legion, volunteer groups including veterans.
