Matthew Sellars, also known as Matty or Sellars by those closest to him passed away on July 26th, 2026 In Oregon City, Oregon.

Matthew was born in Portland on February 23rd 1995. He grew up in the Portland metro area & quickly made many friends & close companions that would walk closely beside him throughout his life. He had an undeniable passion for health & fitness, music, camping, riding his motorcycle, & spending time at the rivers or ocean with those he loved. Matt was a hardworking blue collar man. He was a central supporter in the lives of his family & friends, always bringing a vibrant light to the spaces and places he inhabited. He will be greatly missed by many & will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. 
Matthew is survived by his father, Matthew Sellars Sr., his mother Cassandra Harris, his sisters Briana Sellars and Grace Norris, and his brother Elijah Coleman, his Grandmother Carol Parries, along with many other family members and friends.

The funeral service will be held at Redland Pioneer Cemetery, in Oregon City. At 2pm.
