Mrs. Mildred (Millie) Muff, age 91, passed away on November 3, 2024. Mildred was born in Bend, Oregon to Victor and Thelma Posvar. Mildred married Howard Muff of Oregon City, Oregon on August 24, 1951 in Bend, Oregon.
She was preceded in death by husband Howard Muff, parents Victor & Thelma Posvar, brother Victor "Bud" Roy Posvar, Jr ( Margaret), sister Roberta (Charles) Burke, sister Patricia (Charles) Ross, sister Mary (Larry) O'Donnell, sister Karma (Daniel) Greer.
Mildred graduated from Bend High School in 1951. Her first job was as a clerk at Brandis Drug Store in Bend, Oregon. Later she started her career with US Bank in Bend, Oregon. She worked at US Bank until the birth of her first daughter, Gretchen.
In 1958 she and Howard left Bend and moved to Walla Walla, Washington. They welcomed the birth of their daughter, Karla, in 1959. In January, 1963 the family moved to Klamath Falls. While there they helped found the United Pentecostal Church. The family returned to Bend, in November 1964. In August 1966, they moved to Klamath Falls, Oregon. Howard's job transferred them in 1968 to West Linn, Oregon. During the mid 1970's Mildred (Millie) started her successful cake decorating business. In 1977 Mildred (Millie) returned to work as a teller at US Bank, Hilltop Branch in Oregon City. She was later promoted to Investment Officer. She retired in December, 1995. The Muffs moved in 1992 from West Linn, Oregon to Canby, Oregon.
After Howard died in 1997, Millie went to work part time for Parsons Canby Pharmacy until they closed in August 2017 She really enjoyed working in the gift department. Later she also volunteered at Willamette Falls Hospital in the gift shop.
Mildred was a faithful church member all her life. A age 14 she received the infilling of the Holy Spirit and was baptized in the Name of Jesus. She served in various roles as a Sunday School Teacher, Church Secretary, Sunday School Secretary, Quartet Member and Choir Member.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hillside Chapel, 1306 7th St, Oregon City, Oregon 97045
Celebration of Life for Mrs. Mildred (Millie) Muff will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024 at 2:30 PM at Oregon City United Pentecostal Church with Reverend Gary Gleason & Reverend Stanley Gleason, officiating.
