Ollie May Kraft
July 4, 1923 – September 6, 2018
Ollie May (VanHoy) Kraft passed away at age 95 in Oregon City, OR. Although she was born in Washington, she came to Oregon City at a young age, and resided in Beavercreek for 70 years.
She married Herman Kraft in 1943, and they enjoyed over 58 years together. Although primarily a homemaker, she spent many years managing the family blackcap fields, working in a flower shop, and assisting in a CPA firm.
She is survived by her daughter Sherry and son-in-law Jay Main, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters, Virginia Buggins, and Idabelle Shoemaker. In addition to her parents Claude and Elsie VanHoy, she was predeceased by her husband, son Kent, brother Kenneth VanHoy, and sister Gladys Reed.
A service and reception are planned for Monday, September 17, at 11AM at the First Evangelical Presbyterian Church at 1321 Linn Avenue, Oregon City, OR, where she was a member for over 80 years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church or charity of your choice.
