Rebecca Sue Newman of Milwaukie, OR passed away unexpectantly on December 15, 2021 at the age of 58. She was born in Fairfield, CA on January 1, 1963 to Daniel and Louise (Salzwedel) Brown. She moved to Portland as a small child and spent most of her life in the Portland/Milwaukie area where she met her husband, Rob.

Becky was a housewife and took care of two of her grandsons during the day. Her favorite moments were the times spent with family and doting on her grandchildren. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest accomplishments and meant everything to her.

She will be remembered for her unconditional love of people and kind heart. She always put others before herself. She was called "mom", "auntie", or "sister" by those who were fortunate to get to know her and see what a beautiful person she was.

She will also be remembered for her love of 80's metal, especially Def Leppard her favorite band. She loved to crank up the music and dance with her babies. She had a great sense of humor, an infectious smile, and could make all those around her laugh and feel welcome. She left a lasting impression on everyone she met and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Rob; her children Steve Tubbs, Dani (Joey) Blanchard, and Alyssa (Josh) Miller; 5 grandchildren Joe, Cohen, Jasper, Miro, and Jocelyn; her parents; two sisters, Bonnie Brown and Judy (Steve) Claus; and several nephews, nieces, aunts, and uncles.
