Richard (Rick) A. Knight Jr. died on May 1, 2026, after an illness at the age of 73. He was born in Oakland, CA. on August 20, 1952, as the oldest son of Richard and Donna Knight. He spent three years in the Navy in 1970 and was a Tri-Met bus driver for 35 years. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sandra, his children Jessica (Carl) Wheeland, Justin (Heidi), six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and sister Carolyn VanLaningham. He was predeceased by his father, mother, and brother, John. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and loved by all.
