Robert Campos, 61, passed away on September 2, 2024, in Portland, Oregon. Born on April 15, 1963, Robert affectionately known as "Bobby C", was a man whose resilience and loving nature left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Robert grew up in San Antonio, Texas, where he attended local schools before dedicating years of service to the US Navy. After his military tenure, he embarked on a career as a UPS driver, a role he held from 1985-2010, followed by various positions in delivery and warehousing until his health declined.
Throughout his life Robert was always aware that he had an "unseen hand" over him. Raised in the Catholic faith, he later found more solace in foursquare and non-denominational Christian communities, notably at Athey Creek Church, after a very long hospitalization.
As a sports fan, he loved his Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs. Golf and playing cards and almost all games was also a fun pastime. A Big Kid!
Robert is survived by his wife, Kimberly Campos; his daughter, Olivia Campos and son-in-law, Paden Little along with their children, Quoia and Magnolia Little; sister, Delores Sauls; brother and sister-in-law, Andy and Lydia Campos; and brothers, Tito and Matthew Campos.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Santos and Janie Campos; birth parents, Lucia Martinez and Esteban Campos; son, Samuel Campos; and brother, Henry Campos.
Services will be held at Athey Creek Church, 2700 SW Ek Road, West Linn, Oregon 97068.
Robert's life was a testament to his unwavering faith and the love he had for his family and friends. Robert, you are loved and missed. We can't wait to see you again!
