Bob MacGill was born on May 10, 1948 in Olympia, Washington. Bob loved life, and even at an early age he had a mischievous streak and sense of humor that continued throughout his life. He attended Western Washington University and majored in history. After college Bob joined the US Navy officers program and served his country honorably and proudly. He went on to a very long career in industrial refrigeration and cooking equipment for the hospitality industry. He made many, many friends along the way.

Bob loved the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, and when the sun came out he could be found taking long drives through the mountains to the east or west to enjoy it. He had an incredible love of music and he enjoyed sharing it with everyone. Bob was a collector of many things, which included baseball cards, stamps and coins. He also enjoyed fishing, playing his favorite APBA game, the ocean, the Gorge, and video poker. Bob played football and baseball growing up, and as an adult he turned to following professional sports with baseball being his favorite. The Mariners were at the top of a long list of teams he loved. He also loved the Washington Huskies.

Bob's kids, Charlie and Jennifer, were the light of his life. He loved participating in their sports by keeping score and went to every single game that he was available to attend. You might say it was his religion.

Bob is survived by his wife, Shelley; his daughter Jennifer Crutcher; his son Charlie MacGill; his grandchildren, Sophia and Tyler Crutcher and Odyn MacGill; his brother John MacGill; and sister Suzanne MacGill.
