Robert Wayne Mott, age 58, passed away on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2017. He was born on February 21st 1959 in San Diego, California.

He is survived by his wife, Karen; children Jason, Harrison and Richelle; his sister Patti and his brother Mike; and his daughters-in-law, Ashley and Brooke.

After graduating from Monte Vista High School, Robert served his country for over 20 years in the United States Coast Guard. After moving to many different places over the years, including Connecticut, Virginia and Guam, he retired from the Coast Guard and settled in Oregon City, Oregon. He had a few different jobs after retirement, including serving on the Milwaukie Police Department. He enjoyed many different hobbies including fishing and woodworking; most recently, he had built his own sand rail and spent most of his free time on the Oregon coast dunes. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held at the Hillside Chapel, 1306 7th Street, Oregon City, Oregon on Thursday, August 10th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. The family will be present to greet relatives and friends.
