Shirley May (Rebischke) Struloeff, 84, of Canby, Ore., died Sunday, August 4, 2019.
She was born November 24, 1934, in Darling, Minn., to Arthur and Dorothy (McCarthy) Rebischke.
She graduated from Trinity Lutheran School in Oregon City, Ore., where she attended all twelve years.
On August 25, 1955, she married William Struloeff in North Bonneyville, Wash. They lived in Oregon City and Mulino before residing in Wauna, Ore., for more than three decades until his death in 2009.
A long-time painter and poet, diarist, bird watcher, and crossword enthusiast, she was known for her kind heart, her Lutheran faith, and her dedication and love for her family.
She is survived by two sons, William Struloeff II of Taylorville and John Struloeff of Calabasas, Calif.; four daughters, Cynthia Hansen of Canby, Dorothy Struloeff-Hudson of McMinnville, Suzanne Struloeff-Nicholas-Batey of Longview, Wash., and Karen Duvall of Taylorville; one sister, Lois Gregersen, of Junction City; one brother, Gordon Rebischke, of Oregon City; and 21 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy June Christiansen and Diane Rebischke-Hilstad, and one brother, Frederick Rebischke.
