Shirley Ann Wright, resident of Milwaukie, Oregon, passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday, November 15, 2016. Shirley was born August 5, 1934 in Connersville, Indiana, and was raised by her parents, James Everett and Viola Mae (Carpenter) Proffit. She graduated from Business School in St. Joseph, Missouri, and went on to work for Armour & Co. After the death of her father, Shirley and her mother moved to Milwaukie, Oregon in 1955, where she worked as a secretary for the Mobil Oil Co. She was married to Donald Wright on March 15, 1958 and they started their family in 1960. She was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Shirley was also a member of the Daughters of the Nile.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Donald; her daughter, Rhonda; her son, Brian; her grandchildren, Dale Allen Coverdell and Michael Lee Coverdell; and great-grandchildren, Christian and Caitlyn Coverdell.
